With the reopening of Universal Orlando Resort, stand-by lines have changed dramatically. For the new, Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure, there is no longer a standby line due to its popularity. In order to ride this new attraction, you will need to enter the virtual queue through the Universal Orlando app.
Be sure to download the app before you arrive. Once you are inside the park, you can reserve a time on the app. Take advantage of the early admission hour to one of the Universal Orlando theme parks, as that will allow you to select a virtual line time earlier. Open the Universal Orlando app, select virtual line experience, and then select Hagrid’s. From there, select virtual line pass, your party size, and then the time you would like to ride. The time you select is good for an hour. TIP: I recommend everyone in your party to download the Universal app and select a different return time that way you can ride multiple times! I can promise you will want to experience this attraction more than once!
After your arrival window time opens, you will reopen the app and go to the virtual line time under Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure. Click on the arrival time and the app will open a QR code to be scanned. Your entire party must be with you to utilize the virtual line pass and experience the attraction. You will enter the line at the entrance to Hogsmede, and present your QR code on the app to a Universal team member whom will scan the code and verify it matches your party size. If you have anyone in the party that is not tall enough to ride, they can go through the queue with you and utilize the child swap option. The line may look long, but the biggest line we experienced was to gain access to a locker. Once you get through that line, it moves very quickly. I recommend getting as early of a return time as possible, and then getting more throughout the day. Utilizing this strategy, we were able to ride 10+ times during our
3 days at the parks and could have ridden even more if we wanted to. I hope you enjoy Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure as much as we did. We feel it is the best attraction at Universal Orlando Resort!
