Just recently, the state of California announced that they are allowed to open theme parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios starting April 1. Since then, Disney stated that they plan on opening their California theme parks towards the end of April. Disney also announced that Avengers Campus will open this year as scheduled, but not when the park reopens in April.
Although Disneyland Resort has been closed for over a year, Walt Disney Imagineers continue to work hard on completing this new addition to Disney California Adventure.
Avengers Campus will be located where A Bug’s Land previously was. This new Marvel land will stretch all the way back to where Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout is.
As soon as guests enter Avengers Campus, they will be greeted by Spider Man soaring over their heads! The land will include a few attractions, character interactions, shopping, and dining.
An all new attraction, Web Slingers: A Spider Man Adventure, will open with Avengers Campus! Disney just announced that this ride will have no height requirement, so that every guest can enjoy it.
Guests can encounter the Master of the Mystic Arts at the Sanctum, featuring Doctor Strange! If you visit at night, you may even get to see the Sanctum transform as it is more active after the sun sets.
Ant Man and The Wasp will get their own dining experience for guests. PYM Test Kitchen is an all new quick service dining option that will feature size-defying offerings.

Disneyland will reopen at the end of April operating at 15% capacity only to California residents. With Covid-19 restrictions loosening up, hopefully Disneyland can welcome guests from outside the state in the near future!
