If you are like me, you are intrigued by the outer design at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. Now that I have officially dined there, I can tell you it is just as interesting as it looks! Although the dessert is the headliner, the main menu is not to be missed. Check out some of the entrées below that my party tried!
First thing is first! Main entrées were definitely hard to choose from with the many options. I went back and forth between the Grilled 10oz New York Strip Steak with lyonnaise potatoes, grilled asparagus, and béarnaise sauce or the Pepperoni Flatbread. Ultimately, I choose the Pepperoni Flatbread because I wanted to save some room for dessert. I also added a small cup of French Onion Soup too! I ended up seeing several orders of the New York Strip and it looked amazing! I will be trying it the next time for sure.
The French Onion Soup was honestly nothing to write home about. I can eat just about anything from any restaurant, but I will not be ordering this from here again. It was pretty bland for my taste.
The Pepperoni Flatbread was one of the best I have had. It was very thin with a crunch. It was also very cheesy which is always a plus in my opinion.
One of my friends had the Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was described on the menu as a buttermilk fried chicken breast stuffed with sliced ham and Swiss cheese over fresh spinach and fontina mornay on a toasted brioche bun. She said it was a great choice and lived up to expectation!
My other friend had the Fettuccine Alfredo. She said the taste did not stand out as far as Fettuccine Alfredo goes.
Last but certainly not least are the stars of the show! The milkshakes are very tasty and filling, hence why I went with a light option for dinner. We ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake, Red Velvet and Marshmallow Crisp Shakes.
The Strawberry Cheesecake is described as a sour cream ice cream, cheesecake, graham crackers, fresh whipped cream, and a chocolate dipped strawberry. The Red Velvet has vanilla ice cream, red velvet cupcake, raspberry sauce, rainbow sprinkles, fresh whipped cream, and cherry. The Marshmallow Crisp full of flavor with vanilla ice cream, rice krispies, marshmallow fluff, fresh whipped cream, and a rice krispies treat. I personally had the marshmallow crisp and it was everything I hoped it would be in an over the top shake!
