The Disney Lowdown: My Disney Experience App

By Jeremy Miller & Kerri Tagliente

Walt Disney World is an amazing place, but it’s also an ENORMOUS place. That’s why we’re here to give you “The Disney Lowdown” on everything you need to know to create magical memories that last a lifetime! Today, we’re talking about the My Disney Experience app.

The My Disney Experience app should be immediately downloaded after booking your trip with your Disney travel professional. It is your one-stop planning hub which is always at your fingertips!

My Disney Experience App Home Screen

Easy to Use

The My Disney Experience app is very easy to use and navigate! It will help you to keep track of all your plans: resort check-in/check-out, dining reservations, park reservations, FastPasses, showtimes and more. If you are traveling with a large group or have multiple reservations, you can link them all together on here!

My Disney Experience App Restaurants Map

Map Filtering

Filtering the park map is one of our favorite features. You can change the map to display wait times for rides, restaurant locations, bathrooms, shopping, PhotoPass photographers and more!

My Disney Experience App Wait Times

You can choose to view this page in list form or map form. The app will sort restaurants alphabetically, where wait times will sort from lowest to highest times.

My Disney Experience App Mobile Order

Mobile Ordering

All Disney-owned quick service restaurants now utilize mobile ordering. Place your order through the app while on your way to the restaurant. Go to the designated pick-up window to collect your food and enjoy! Mobile ordering is super easy to use and makes ordering food so much faster!

My Disney Experience App Photo Pass

PhotoPass

All photos taken on rides and by Disney PhotoPass photographers can be found in the “Photos” section on the My Disney Experience app. To download the photos taken on your Disney vacation, you must purchase the Memory Maker add-on to your trip.

My Disney Experience App Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue

Virtual Queue

Currently, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is the only attraction at Walt Disney World that requires a virtual queue. You can join the virtual queue from the home page of your app.

The My Disney Experience app makes your trip to Walt Disney World so much easier. With everything you need to have a successful trip all in one place can take the stress off your vacation!
