Stormalong Bay is a mini water park that features a lazy river, sand bottom pool, 3 whirlpool spas, sandy beach, 230 foot long elevated water slide, full size pirate ship wreckage and more! The highlight of this resort pool is the full size pirate ship wreck. The pirate ship features a splash pad for kids with miniature slides, but also has a 230 foot long slide that starts at the top of the pirate ship and ends with entry into the main pool. The pirate ship provides a beautiful view of the resort beach and boardwalk as well.
Some unique features are the sand bottom pool and a sand pit. The resorts provide shovels, pales and molds for children. While the kids are playing in the sand pit, the adults can supervise from the whirlpool that connects to the sand pit!
The lazy river is fun for the whole family, as it winds around the iconic windmill and provides a relaxing escape.
In addition to everything the pool itself offers, the staff at the resorts have great kids’ pool activities and games throughout the day. Those activities include sandcastle building, Disney trivia, music, dance parties, hula hooping and movies under the stars!
