If you are looking for an adventurous meal with a great atmosphere and scenery, look no further than Sanaa at Kidani Village Resort. Not only will you have a great meal, but you can do so while overlooking a savannah with tons of wildlife. The restaurant is beautifully designed with an African spice market as its inspiration, while the food is prepared with Indian flavors.
Here’s a look at Sanaa’s menu. A lot of the dishes may not be items you are familiar with, but your server will help guide you with great recommendations based on your likes and dislikes.
Sanaa’s signature menu item is their Indian style bread service. It is served with 9 different sauces including garlic pickle, coriander chutney, spicy jalapeño-lime pickle, red chile sambal, red pepper hummus, tomato-date jam, tamarind chutney, mango chutney, and cucumber raita. The breads include traditional naan, garlic-ginger naan, spice naan, onion kulcha, and paneer paratha. Each bread and sauce was exceptional and unique. Everyone in our party loved the bread service and had their own favorites, including the kids! It is plenty to share for a group of 4-6.
For entrees we had another signature dish – the butter chicken. It was fantastic, and I can see why it is so highly recommended. It was served with Basmati Rice and cilantro-coconut vegetables. The chicken is mouth watering with the rich butter sauce.
The New York Strip and roasted potatoes is a classic choice for less adventurous eaters and lives up to expectations. There are plenty of classic dishes to mix in with the more adventurous choices. The kids menu has classic choices as well, with items like pizza and cheeseburgers.
Be sure to give Sanaa a try, and don’t let the unfamiliar menu choices scare you away! It is definitely worth stepping out of your comfort zone!
