Many fans of this beloved classic thought it may never be available to stream, but in the words of the late, great Whitney Houston ,“Impossible things are happening every day.”
This seven-time Emmy nominated movie, released in 1997, pushed boundaries by featuring an amazingly diverse cast of talented actors including Whitney Houston, Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg, Bernadette Peters, Jason Alexander, and Victor Garber.
The movie follows the classic Cinderella story, but is based on Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical. It was one of the critically acclaimed Wonderful World of Disney films that aired 24 years ago. The movie includes choreography from Broadway director Rob Marshall.
