Disney has announced plans for the park’s 60th anniversary celebration. As part of the celebration Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park and Carthay Circle Theater in California Adventure will each get their own diamond medallion featuring the world famous “D.”
Also announced is “Disneyland Forever” a new high-tech fireworks show, featuring special effects throughout the park including Main Street USA, It’s s Small World, the Matterhorn and along the Rivers of America using Fantasmic fountains and more. It makes it’s debut on May 22, 2015.
Hong Kong Disneyland’s parade “Paint the Night” is coming to Disneyland for the 60th Anniversary. It features more than 1.5 million LED light and will include some minor changes including the addition of Anna and Elsa.
Lastly a new edition of “World of Color” which will now be called “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonder World of Walt Disney” will be part of the Diamond Anniversary Celebration. It features Mickey Mouse taking guests on a journey through decades of animated moments.
