Disney Park Bag Perfection

Written by Stephanie & Marci

Successfully preparing your park bag can help ensure that your day is practically perfect in every way. Even Mary Poppins understood the necessity of prepping her bag appropriately. Here are our personal top suggestions to help you sail through your park day.

  • When the weather and wind blow in from the East…
    • Ponchos
    • Sunglasses
    • Personal Fan

Pro Tip: We like to pack our rain gear every day. You never know when a Florida shower will pop up. Also bring a Ziploc bag to put your cell phone in for extremely blustery weather.

  • A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down….
    • Sunscreen
    • Hand Sanitizer
    • Pain Relievers
    • Band-Aids

Pro Tip: If you get in a jam and are in need of first-aid items, each park has a First Aid Station near the entrance. They carry most necessities and minor medical items that may pop up.

  • Let’s go fly a kite…
    • Cell Phone Charger
    • Magic Bands/Park Tickets
    • Autograph Books and Sharpies
    • Photo ID
    • Mickey/Minnie Ears

Pro Tip: We think ear holders are one of the most magical inventions. Need to take your ears off for a ride? These gadgets hook your ears to your bag so you never lose them.

  • A Cheery Disposition
    • Set of Cards
    • Bubbles
    • Glow Sticks

Pro Tip: Our favorite game is the app, Heads Up. Most park attractions also have the Play Disney Parks app which allows you to participate in extra entertainment while waiting in lines.

  • Something is brewing…(and it just might be your stomach). Even though the Disney parks are filled with scrumptious treats, you may need your own little snack in a pinch.
    • Munchies
    • Bottled Water
    • Gum or Mints

Pro Tip: If you don’t like the taste of Disney tap water, be sure to bring water flavor packets. Your local grocery will have a variety of different flavors and options.
