Trick or treat, craving something sweet? Pull out your stretchy pants, it’s snack time at Magic Kingdom! Even though Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will not be happening this year, Walt Disney World has released an abundance of tasty, spellbinding treats from September 15 through October 31.
Not even Snow White could say no to the Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake. This spiced apple cupcake topped with buttercream icing and a pecan crunch is witchy enough to tempt dwarfs of all ages. It can be found at The Pinocchio Village Haus.
Fall madly in love with Constance’s For Better or Worse Wedding Cake at Liberty Square Market. This citrus flavored cake is filled with raspberry Bavarian cream and topped with buttercream pearls, whipped cream flowers, and a soul-shattering chocolate axe.
What would you trade for one of these Poor Unfortunate Souls Floats? It’s composed of cream cheese soft-serve that is doused in Cherry Choke, garnished with black raspberry syrup and Ursula’s sugar crown. Legs are required to scurry over to Storybook Treats to try this.
The grim grinning ghosts recommend the Cinnamon and Sugar Donuts that can be found at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. The festive twist on this classic treat is accentuated by the spooktacular container featuring one of the adorable hitchhiking ghosts.
Finally, our own personal favorite seasonal sweet is the Pumpkin Spiced Mickey Waffle Sundae. It can be found at Sleepy Hollow. This shareable taste of fall is a highlight of the season. It consists of two crisp pumpkin spice-flavored Mickey waffles topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, a caramel drizzle and festive sprinkles.
The Walt Disney World bakers have outdone themselves this fall by offering a range of rich confections to please every park-goer’s palate. Which one tops your must-munch list?
