Today Disney has announced some new changes coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These new changes will be arriving at Walt Disney World just in time for its 50th anniversary!
Here is what guests will be expecting to see next year:
- New entryway featuring chandeliers inspired by glass floats, fishing nets and bamboo
- New facade
- Updated Monorail Station
- Updated entrance sign
- Garden and fountain enhancements
- Redone hotel rooms
- Details, patterns and textures inspired from Disney’s Moana
Although the resort will be under construction for a few months, guests can still enjoy the shopping and dining areas found in the Great Ceremonial House.
These new changes will debut summer 2021. More details on Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be announced in the near future.
