Aside from the attractions, characters, and entertainment, one of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is the food! Disney offers a great selection of snacks throughout the parks that are definitely worth a try. This past trip I got to revisit some of my favorite snacks as well as try some new ones.
Cheshire Cat Tail
The first snack I had on my trip was the Cheshire Cat Tail. This was a highly recommended snack from so many people that I talked to, so I was excited to try it. The Cheshire Cat Tail is a flakey, chocolate filled croissant warmed up and topped with icing; it was amazing! It was sweet, but was well balanced with the croissant. You can find this snack at its new location, Cosmic Ray’s, in Tomorrowland. It was previously located at the Cheshire Cafe, but that quick service spot is temporarily closed. The Cheshire Cat Tail requires a mobile order, like most of the quick service restaurants in the park. I would suggest getting lunch at Cosmic Ray’s and order this snack as dessert. Most of the seating is inside with air conditioning, and the food is great here too!
Popcorn
If there’s one snack I have to get every trip, it’s the popcorn! Something about Disney’s popcorn is just so good, that I can’t resist not getting it. You can smell it from a mile away, and the next thing you know, you’re standing in line waiting to get some! Hollywood Studios was selling a refillable Star Wars popcorn bucket for $12 with $2 refills. It was definitely worth getting the refillable bucket instead of the smaller popcorn, because it’s much better for sharing with your family. Plus it’s always nice to grab a refill on the way out of the park to have in your hotel room or take back home with you!
Blue Milk
Later that day at Galaxy’s Edge, I had to get my all time favorite Disney snack: Blue Milk! The milk stand (which requires a mobile order) is located right across from the First Order Tie Fighter on Batuu. I personally recommend the blue milk over the green milk, but feel free to try both! The blue milk has a fruity, tropical taste to it and is almost like rice milk. It’s great for cooling down and is very refreshing.
Monorail Cupcake
After the parks closed, I went back to my hotel, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and headed to the Contempo Cafe for dessert. I ordered the Monorail Cupcake, which is a vanilla cupcake with cookies and cream frosting. The cupcake was topped with chocolate icing, an oreo, and a white chocolate monorail. My family really enjoyed this sweet snack as well!
Dole Whip
A trip to Walt Disney World is never complete without either a Mickey Bar or a Dole Whip. My family and I decided to go with the Dole Whip, because we were right by Aloha Isle in Adventureland. We mobile ordered two Dole Whips and two Dole Whip Floats. They were ready for pickup right away. There is a shaded area next to Aloha Isle, right by the exit of the Enchanted Tiki Room. These were a great way to cool off, so I would suggest getting them in the afternoon when it’s the hottest part of the day.
I really enjoyed every snack I got on this trip. Every location required a mobile order except the popcorn stand at Hollywood Studios. Mobile ordering is quite simple and can be done on the My Disney Experience app. Make sure you order your food before arriving at the location. Some places will not let you inside the building or in the line, unless you have your confirmation number from mobile ordering. Be sure to get these delicious treats or try some new ones on your next visit to Walt Disney World!
