The Central Florida transportation company, Mears Transportation Group, has just announced their new service that will fill the absence of Disney’s Magical Express in 2022.
“Mears Connect” is the new service that will transport guests to and from Orlando International Airport and their Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Mears Connect will handle guests’ luggage like Disney’s Magical Express did in the past.
The biggest difference between Mears Connect and Magical Express is that guests will have to pay for Mears Connect. Pricing for the service is to be announced later this year as well as when to book reservations.
Mears spokesman, Roger Chapin stated, “We plan to offer the same level of experience, service, and convenience we’ve provided for the last 16 years, on behalf of our longtime partner, as returning guests and first-time visitors can expect nothing less. It is important for visitors to know they still have many of the same safe transportation options for their Orlando visit, all offered by the same company who has been providing seamless, economical, and hassle-free transportation for decades.”
Disney announced earlier this year that their complimentary Magical Express service will come to an end on December 31, 2021. Mears Connect is just one of the several ways guests can travel between their Disney hotel and Orlando International Airport once Disney’s Magical Express comes to an end.
