As it has in the past, Kail River Rapids is undergoing its winter refurbishment. The ride closed on January 4, 2021 and it is expected to reopen on April 04, 2021.
As the raft ride is purely a water driving attraction, it often gets its guest soaked on hot days. It is much appreciated that Disney is doing this refurbishment during the cooler months.
