The CDC has just announced today that the no-sail order will come to an end on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Although the no-sail order comes to an end, cruises will not immediately resume this weekend. In order to sail, cruise lines must prove that their ships have safe enough guidelines for protecting against COVID-19.
Cruise lines must run test sailings to earn CDC approval before they resume cruising with guests. The CDC will examen the ships to make sure that they are safe enough for passengers.
This is another step in the right direction for the travel industry. More updates will be coming in the near future.
