The festivities for this year’s holiday season have been announced by Disney and the season officially kicks off on November 12th, “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” marking the resort’s 50th anniversary. Festive entertainment, whimsical décor, seasonal food and drinks, and holiday-themed merchandise will all be a part of this very special season at our theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.

Today Disney announced the details of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary Celebration and it will last 18 months. Beginning October 1st all 4 theme parks will celebrate the golden anniversary with new experiences to commemorate the milestone. Disney even coined a new word “EARidescence” to describe what Guests will see when they visit.
