Just announced today, California theme parks are allowed to reopen starting April 1, 2021. Of course, the parks must follow the state’s latest rules and guidelines for the safety of guests and workers.
California theme parks are allowed to reopen at 15% capacity, but will only be open to California residents. However, this is a still another step in the right direction for California theme parks.
California theme parks like Disneyland and Universal Studios have been urging the state to open up theme parks for a while now, so both theme parks are likely to reopen as soon as they can.
Disneyland recently announced it’s ‘A Touch of Disney‘ event starting March 18, so Disney California Adventure is already prepared for reopening. Testing of the Disneyland Railroad as well as the trolley carts have been going on as well.
