The 5th annual Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts is back and better than ever at the Walt Disney World Resort! I was lucky enough to attend the festival last week and loved every minute of it!
L’Arte di Mangiare at the Italy Pavilion in World Showcase is offering three new food items at this year’s festival and I got to try them all.
First up is the Arancini. These fried risotto balls are filled with a sweet sausage and come with pomodoro sauce. The Arancini was absolutely delicious and ended up being my favorite item on the Italy menu. You can order the risotto balls for $12.00.
L’Aragosta was the next thing I tried. It’s a lobster filled ravioli with vanilla-saffron cream sauce and topped with shredded chili peppers. Although I enjoyed them, they were the most expensive item on the Italy menu at $15.00.
For dessert Italy has Bomboloni, which is a cream-filled doughnut topped with sweet raspberry sauce and some powdered sugar. These were amazing and were are great addition to the menu. This sweet treat is priced at $11.00.
Overall, the Italy food offerings at the Festival of the Arts were some of my favorites. The only negative is that this was the most expensive menu I tried. The line looked a little overwhelming at first, but moved rather quickly. L’Arte di Mangiare was delicious and I would definitely eat here again.
Be sure to catch the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts before it ends on February 22!
