The holidays have officially begun at Epcot! The park has debuted this year’s Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, and we got to check it out today.
The festival includes brand new holiday menus around the world and the return of old favorites like the Voices of Liberty. However, one guest favorite is missing this year, the Candlelight Processional. Hopefully it will makes its return for the 2021 festival. No worries though, there is plenty to keep you busy this holiday season at Epcot!
Holiday cavalcades can be found throughout World Showcase all day. These are unscheduled, but I found them to occur almost back-to-back. Guests can expect to see Santa, Anna and Elsa, and Mickey & friends. All characters are in their holiday costumes and their floats are decorated as well.
The Voices of Liberty are finally back! They are in their Dickens Caroler outfits and perform in the America Gardens Theatre.
Mariachi Cobre holiday edition is also back to present holiday traditions and music from Mexico. This year’s show takes place in the America Gardens Theatre as well.
Each country in World Showcase is decorated with its traditional trimmings! My favorite is Norway with its wooden Santa’s!
I also loved the Christmas tea set in the United Kingdom!
Alongside with the seasonal decor, each country features holiday dishes. Check out my Epcot Holiday eats blog for the best dishes and menus coming soon!
For kids this year, Epcot had added the Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition! Kids and kids at heart, can explore each country in World Showcase and look for Olaf. Once you find him, place the included sticker on the map.
After finding all the Olafs (and even if you can’t find them all), you can redeem the card for one of the adorable Frozen cups below!
This was so much fun on our trip, and a great way to visit countries we don’t usually spend much time in.
Another new addition this year is the Gingerbread display of the Capital building in Washington D.C. – Disney style of course! This can be found in the World Showplace Pavilion. The detail is amazing and it’s a beautiful display!
Can you spot some familiar faces below?
Disney also included a list of ingredients used to make this delicious masterpiece!
Th World Showplace pavilion has some great picture spots as well!
