Are you a fan of horror movies or do you just love the Halloween season? If so, then Universal Orlando Resort is the perfect getaway for you this fall! The full Halloween Horror Nights festivities have been cancelled for 2020, but Universal found a way to bring back part of the fun for guests. The best part is that it is free with your regular admission! Typically, Horror Nights are an additional charge, but not this year. This year during regular park hours you can visit two classic haunted houses, The Bride of Frankenstein Lives and Revenge of the Tooth Fairy, at no extra cost.
TIP: When staying at a qualified express pass hotel, you can bypass the regular line at these haunted houses!
These haunted houses are recommended ages 13 and up. If your little ones feel brave enough, you can opt to take them through. If they do not want to visit, you can take them to the trick or treat stations setup throughout Islands of Adventure or take part in the Scarecrow Stalk, where kids can do a scarecrow scavenger hunt!
Something everyone can and should do together is visit the Tribute Store.
This unique horror movie themed store features movie and set props used in Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses from years past. Each room is themed just like a haunted house, but without the scary actors. This makes it more family friendly.
The store also features exclusive Halloween Horror Nights new and retro merchandise. There is also a bakery with horror movie themed treats.
The special Halloween touches added extra fun to our Universal Resort vacation. We can’t wait until next year to visit and take part in the full Halloween Horror Nights festivities. Be sure to add a visit to Universal Orlando to your fall plans if you want to take part in all these unique experiences!
