The 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is finally here at the Walt Disney World Resort! With the park’s biggest menu yet, we’re exploring all of the different flavors around the world.
The Germany Pavilion is offering the same three dishes they had last year. Germany is one of our favorite stops at the Food & Wine Festival so we had to get all three dishes this time around.
First up is the Roast Bratwurst served in a pretzel roll. This has always been a popular item on the menu at Food & Wine and it’s obvious why!
The Schinkennudeln has been on the Germany Food & Wine menu a few times, but we never got the chance to try it. This year we couldn’t miss the opportunity. Although the name may sound a little different, the dish just consists of pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese. It was a pleasant surprise and we all really enjoyed it. For those that are participating in Emile’s Fromage Montage, this is one of the five cheese dishes at the festival.
And of course, we couldn’t forget about dessert! Served with a vanilla sauce, the Apple Strudel was a great way to end our meal at Germany. This ended up being my favorite item at the entire Food & Wine Festival this year!
